Everything Else

I don't always just make beads with polymer clay, sometimes I do make other things as well. You can find a lot of my non-bead work on my blog as well!

Clay covered mini-lunchboxes

The above tote bag was entered into the 2007 Bead Dreams competition. Unfotunately it wasn't accepted. But, all is well that ends well and creating it made me fall in love with bead embroidery. I'm now working on another purse.

The bag is titled "Trees and Leaves" and is made almost entirely out of 15/0 Japanese seed beads. Techniques used are bead embroidery, brick stitch, peyote stitch (2-drop) and netting. It uses seed beads, pressed glass beads and Swarovski crystals.

These are Altoid tins covered in polymer clay. They are a perfect holder for business cards, or as a small and unique wallet to hold your money and credit cards. I also ship jewelry in them, so not only does the recipient get beautiful jewelry, but they get a pretty jewelry box to put it in!
